Novice League

Designed for archers who are wanting a bit more fun

Where: Protea Archery range
When: Last Saturday of every month
Time: Registration at 8:30am, Scoring arrows at 9am
Cost: R50 for members with their own equipment; additional R30 for non-members
(club equipment will be available for rental if arranged 24hrs in advance at a cost of R30)
Format:

• Format 1: 36 arrows at 20m, 36 arrows at 20m – All on a full 80cm target.
• Format 2: 36 arrows at 30m, 36 arrows at 20m – All on either a full 80cm target or a 6 ring.
• Format 3: 36 arrows at 50m on a 120cm target, 36 arrows at 30m on a full 80cm target or a 6 ring.
• This will then be followed by a robin spot shoot out at a random distance, 1 arrow only
• Then from the 20m round archers will be ranked and allocated to teams of mixed strength to compete in a mini team shoot out.

If we get enough entries, some ridiculous prizes may be awarded.
Refreshments will be available in the lounge after the shoot
